About

Answering the Unasked Question

The World Wide Web is an amazing thing.

With just a few clicks on a keyboard, you can connect with the words and thoughts of someone halfway around the globe (or right in your backyard.)

As a writer, you don’t know the situation of the reader, their life story, or what prompted their search, but there was something about your message that they were looking for.

The Origin

This site was originally created for my mom. She is one of the most spiritually wise people I know. She lives the walk. It’s not about the show, but about her desire to become closer to God.

People always go to her for advice. She listens to them, and then they listen to her. She also writes her thoughts on the Bible, her life lessons, etc.

So I thought wouldn’t a blog be a great platform for her so more people could experience what she writes.

At the time, I was involved in a web development project that was sucking the life out of me. I was getting to a point where I didn’t even want to sit down at my computer.

But I sat down and started designing this site for my mom . . . and it was fun. And I remembered that I really did love creating and designing, I just had to extricate myself from that other situation.

And So . . .

I got myself out of that soul sucking project, I launched this for my mom, she did some posts . . .

. . . and found that while she likes to write, she really doesn’t like to post on the internet.

So this blog is now where I post when I have something I’ve learned or that I want to share. Thoughts that maybe someone else out there may be interested in.

I’m not always faithful in posting every time I feel led to, life often gets in the way. I have some that I need to write on Hezekiah, being strong and of good courage, forgiveness, judging, and learning to follow God’s will.

But I do what I can when I can.

But what I’ve noticed reviewing the phrases that bring people to this site . . .

There are a lot of people out there searching for answers, looking for fulfillment, and trying to find answers to issues they are facing.

They are looking for God, either trying to find him or trying to become closer.

I don’t have all the answers. I can’t give the right answers to all these questions.

But I do know that God lives, and he is waiting for you to draw closer to Him.

So I hope that your internet search is just the first step in that direction. In turning your face to him and starting in his direction.

Because the answers you are looking for can’t be found on the internet.

No matter how intelligent, no matter how godly you think a particular person may be, they are still just human with imperfect knowledge that they see through a distorted perception created by their own flaws.

Go to the source.

Go to God’s Word for the answers and then in your quiet time ask him to bring you closer to him.
